Just imagine years ago when you turned on the television and a space show came on. They would travel the stars and stop at different planets and have all kinds of adventures. You don’t need to imagine it. We have a Star Trek film studio right here in Kingsland with the sets in place!
You can experience your very own space adventure by making a Fan Film, learn to write a script or just visit the studio and have some fun.
The film studio is called the Neutral Zone.
It is located at 516 W. Williams Avenue, Kingsland, GA
The Neutral Zone is a not-for-profit studio that does not charge an entry fee but will happily accept donations. All the set workers, and actors are volunteer.
Future plans include some minor set renovations and a sister nonprofit film educational school for people who want to learn to make films, act, and many more jobs that go into film making.
Ray Tesi, the studio’s current owner hopes to make the studio a larger part of the community. As always, communities help each other out. Ray says he would be interested in partnering with a coffee shop or restaurant to have a “space theme.”
The community can help by sharing the studio’s events, renting the studio for films, and parties such as weddings, birthdays, retirement, holiday and more. Come by The Neutral Zone for a visit or to volunteer.
Mr. Tesi is interested in networking with other businesses for costumes, food and more. Please contact him for more information. Most of all please share this so the studio is no longer one of Camden County’s best kept secrets!
