Let me introduce myself, my name is RJ Deer. I started out in my author’s book A Christmas Tale.
My name was Randy then, and I was training to pull Nick’s sleigh. I didn’t understand why we had to train so hard and why the night journey meant so much to Nick. My friend Snowy (yep, that’s right, a snowman and I had a talk) explained it.
Now I have made many trips with Nick on that special night. I have flown over soo, many places and I wanted to stop but we didn’t have time.
I am older now and I like the name RJ. Oh, did I mention I am now a big brother to twin little sisters?
Mama and Poppa say I need to help by being a good example. I must teach them things like reading a map and about places outside our north country snowy mountain home.
Their names are Adelida or Adi, and Allegra or Alle, and they can be a handful. Here is where our adventures begin.
“Whatcha doin RJ?” asked Alle. “I have to teach you about the places we are going.”
“Teach us what?” Adi cautiously asked, “is this school?”” No, it’s a series of field trips where you learn things.” RJ grinned. “Yippee” the girls yelled out.
“Okay girls now here are few of the things you are going to learn as we go.
1. Latitude and Longitude lines so you can find places on the big globe.
2. The plants that are where we are going.
3. The animals in that location.
There may be more depending on where we go.
